Phil John Kneis:
MUTATIO - INTENTIONS I:
UNDERTAKINGS
Eichwalde, August 3rd, 1998 - P#86
I. Against all the asking, Beyond all the masking Of all that's around me Of all that's within me I try to define it, I try not to wake it, The fate that will lead me, The fate which will drive me.
II. How ever I'm searching, Where ever I'm reaching, What ever I'm asking, When ever I'm seeking - The answers come slowly And never come fully - Just slow is the river That leads us, but whither?
III. Comes slowly the thinking, Too slow I am sinking In truth and in knowing, Am endlessly rowing On streams that are crying, On paths that seem dying, On roads that seem ending, On truths that seem bending.
IV. The sounds of the river Would give me a shiver Of joy and salvation, Of fear and negation; In all this sensation My anticipation Stays lonely, awaiting What time is creating.
V. The tasks are appearing, The risks I am fearing, But feeling a guidance, A slight interference, A hand that is holding Just mine while unfolding The basics of living And pleasure of giving.
VI. Don't fear now the coming, The truth is too stunning, The fate is my brother, Knows me like no other, And now starts believing, No more empty grieving, Just now am I being, The All I am seeing.
