Phil John Kneis:
CONSIDERATIO - COMPLEXIONS I:
NOTHING TO LOSE
Eichwalde, October 26th, 1996 - P#37
I. Nothing to lose, But what yet to gain? I walk in my shoes And hope, not in vain
II. My life then will be. When nothing at all Is all I now see. The future's a wall
III. That waits for my time. But when will awake The true self of mine, To see what to take
IV. And know what to say, How long then to wait, And know what a way I once shall create?
V. Is really no worth And nothing at all Existing on Earth That's joining the call
VI. For future indeed And humans of course, And all it will need Is doing no worse.
VII. And ev'rything's said, But nothing is done, So now you feel sad: You have not yet won.
VIII. The task is too large, And large is the dream, But where lies the charge To build a new realm,
IX. A realm not of might, A realm not of fear, A realm not too tight But justice so sheer.
X. Eternal a dream, A dream quite of some, And may it not seem: Yet once it will come.
