Introduction: Group 4: Moments
In "Moments", I intend to combine some aspects of "Elements" and "Voyages".
"Moments" constitutes the fourth group of my photographs, with a stronger artistic agenda, mostly with an aesthetic focus, nearly no documentation, no "study" aspect as in "Elements". The agenda is new for each series, the group structure is not fixed, the series are rather short, they are not supposed to be any larger than 25-30 pictures, the guideline is about ten pictures per series.
The intention is to capture the moment, or a situation, the local context can be small (as in the Fields series) or larger (as in the Roadview series), but the larger context is bound to a smaller combining element (i.e. the road in Roadview). The setting and surrounding for each series is supposed to be the same or very similar. There may also be a puristic tendency, you could also call it simplistic or reductionist (as in Fields). I'm interested in the mood behind a situation, and in some combinations of colors I find striking or odd.
All photographs in this group have been taken with a digital camera.
