Introduction: Group 3: Places
In "Places", I attempt to see some aspects of "Elements" come to life, while also trying to depict a certain place of a rather small geographic scope. The focus lies on capturing the specific, the detail, the momentum and gravity of that place.
"Places" constitutes the third group of my photographs, combining a lesser documentational character with a more artistic one. The focus lies on architecture and forms, and on the interplay of colors and the interaction of the artificial with the natural.
Older photographs in this group have been taken with a normal tourist's camera (Alps, Budapest, Dresden, Kaprun, London, Milano, Stockholm, Miscellaneous), the rest with a digital camera (Berlin, Potsdam and future series).
